EXPERIENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY
A resident and community activist in the 12th District for over 27 years, Jonathan "Yoni" Pizer and his husband Brad Lippitz are pillars of the community where they raised their two sons, Max (19) and Jack (16). Yoni, who earned an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management after studying economics at the University of Wisconsin, has a long and distinguished record as both a small business owner and community leader. Yoni has proudly served as the Community Liaison for Congressman Mike Quigley for over 5 years. In this capacity, Yoni has been the Congressman's eyes and ears, meeting with constituents, formulating policy, and insuring that the Congressman is well-versed and up-to-date on issues affecting the community he serves.
Prior to that, Yoni owned and operated a supermarket supply company for 20 years. Representing the 12th District in Springfield at this critical time for our city, state and country would allow Yoni to capitalize on his years of experience in these fields to best serve the district. With disturbing increases in hate crimes targeting LGBTQ communities, spikes in anti-Semitic incidents throughout the north side, and efforts to roll back hard-fought successes protecting reproductive health access, Yoni's experience and voice is needed in Springfield now more than ever.
